Grateful for what is made in + around Miami.
What is Mima Market?
Mima Market is a vibrant shop in downtown Miami Shores offering locally-sourced food, drink, and artisan goods by independent makers. It is an open space to connect around what is handmade, sustainable, and local. We offer opportunities to taste, learn about, and experience what Miami is making right now. Mima is about community, and you are welcome to become part of it as a customer, vendor, merchant, or partner. Subscribe!
We aim to source from locals who craft their products and services with passion and who consider the well-being of consumers and our environment in choosing quality materials, ingredients, and packaging. This means less waste, more jobs and taxes being invested in our cities, and more meaningful connections between creatives and customers. Apply to become a vendor.
Who Runs It?
Alexandra Cava Palomino and Raul Parra Orizondo are the husband-and-wife team behind Mima Market. A visual artist and curator, Alexandra highlights local talent through the shop selection, immersive learning experiences, and behind-the-scenes peeks. Raul's background is in IT education, and he thrives finding ways to connect small business owners to their community, as well as resources, that make it viable to do what they love.
